Hello,

I need some help regarding on how to produce the page number on report that only consider on faculty but the report is order external by faculty,programme,semester. By the way for every new semester or new programme the report must produce a new page but the
page number report only consider on faculty. The problem now, when i order external by faculty,programme,semester, for each semester it will reset the page number to 1.

that probably happens because your logical page number box is linked (via the "name" property) to a MINIPAGE that is triggered for every semester. Add a page root (if it isn't already there) that is triggered by faculty and point to that page instead.
