Hello,

On the new version Genero Studio Version 2.50.15 build-134200 Target w32v100 when i launch GDC from tools menu following error is fired :

 Unable to launch GDC
 Unable to start ....
 Message ID : GeneroStudion [1021]

If i launch GDC manually it's work fine

Any ideas ?

Where you say "Unable to start ....", is that what it says, or does the .... represent a long string you didn't type in?

Hi,

 This is a longer string : Unbale to start GDC in "C:\Program Files\Fourjs ..." (the path name that i've set in the "Genero Desktop Client Management" dialog)

It may help if you told us what the full path is.

For instance, I get a similar message when I set that value to ...

C:\Program Files (x86)\FourJs\gdc\2.50.12\bin

... when the GDC installation for that instance and value I should use is

C:\Program Files (x86)\FourJs\gdc\2.50.12

(your actual directory will vary depending if you do a full GST install, or install each product separately, and whether you accept default locations or not)

i post here the full message when i run application from GS (Execute) :

           ::error:(GS-1024) Unable to start GDC in 'C:\Program Files\FourJs\Genero Studio\gdc\bin'

the path name is the same (but error GS-1021) when i'm trying to launch GDC from the Tools Menu of GS
the installation was made with 'Workstation only'
i'm on W7 64 bits and i've tested version 64 bits and 32 bits and the problem is the same only difference is the path for GDC in 32 bits (Program Files (x86) in place of Program Files)

and what happens if you remove the \bin from the end of the field "GDC directory" in the "Genero Desktop Client management" dialog.
