While trying to start Generostudio I get this error:

[pps3@ron1 gst-2.13.00]$ generostudio
/opt/fourjs/gst-2.13.00/lib/generostudio-bin: error while loading shared libraries: libstdc++.so.5: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

What's wrong?

Hi Hannes,

I guess this might be linked to the version of gcc installed on your system. In the latest Linux distributions, you often get gcc version 4.xx by default (please check this), including libstdc++.so.6 (/usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6). Genero Studio version 2.13.00 is checking for libstdc++.so.5, coming with gcc version 3.xx.
So can you install gcc version 3.xx (for example 3.4.x) on your system and try again?
