below is the GAS application configuration for GMA client ( as.xcf )

 -----------------------------------------------------------
<APPLICATION Id="t100app" Parent="defaultwa">
        <EXECUTION AllowUrlParameters="TRUE">
          <PATH>$(res.zone)/www/t100app</PATH>
          <MODULE>start.42r</MODULE>
          <ACCESS_CONTROL>
            <ALLOW_FROM>192.168.</ALLOW_FROM>
          </ACCESS_CONTROL>
        </EXECUTION>
      </APPLICATION>
-----------------------------------------------------------

The advice is to upgrade.

1. Genero 2.50 was released in Nov 2013 and supported until the release of Genero 3.20 in June 2019 or thereabouts.

2. If using GMA client with GAS, then you are using the runOnServer front-call.
a) The runOnServer front-call was introduced in Genero 3.00 (second entry in Table 5 http://4js.com/online_documentation/fjs-fgl-manual-html/#fgl-topics/fgl_whatsnew_300v.html)
b) The GAS protocol changed between 2.50 and 3.00.   http://4js.com/online_documentation/fjs-gas-manual-html/#gas-topics/c_gas_migrate_300v.html
You did not specify the URL but if it was of the form .../ua/r/.../t100app then the 2.50 GAS would not know what to do with it

If you were using a supported version combination, there is no fundamental difference in the GAS configuration and URL for a web application in a browser and using runOnServer to run the same application inside a mobile app.

Dear Reuben

Thanks for your information.

i tried to access <https://4js.com/download/products/?> to download genero, but i got below reply: "you currently have no valid access to the BDS product suite download area"

i will contract our local genero sales support to see if we can get the valid to download the genero software.

Dear Reuben

I got this version genero software: <fjs-gst-3.20.07-build167010-w32v141.exe>, i installed it on windows 11 professional (64bit).

I started the standalone GAS, and then run the demo application via google browser: http://localhost:6394/ua/r/gwc-demo, then i get an error: DVM connection timed out

attached is the error information.
