| FourJs License Manager 6.0 EAP program new packages
|
Four Js is pleased to provide the second release of the Four Js License Manager 6.00 Early Access Program, where we invite you to test:
- the new Four Js License Manager's compatibility with Genero 3.20 (Genero BDL and Genero Report Writter)
- the new "license string", allowing you to license with a single copy-paste
- the new "--batch" commands, simplifying the licensing process by creating and using shell scripts (Unix, macOS and Windows)
- the parsing of JSON command output, such as for the command “fglWrt -a info users”. By parsing the output, you can do your own verification of license usage, or gather your own statistics.
These features and their use are documented in a new manual dedicated to the FLM:
https://4js.com/techdocs/fjs-flm-manual/#genero-install-topics/genero_license_whatsnew_600v.html.
Use of the new license string with fglWrt or greWrt is documented in the Install and License guide:
https://4js.com/techdocs/fjs-genero-install/#genero-install-topics/genero_license_whatsnew_600v.html.
You can downloaded the packages
here.
Important:If you already installed Genero BDL and Genero Report Writer EAP2, you must download the new fjs-fglWrt-xxx or fjs-greWrt-xxx package and uncompress it into $FGLDIR or $GREDIR. For those using the full product installation of Genero Studio, you would uncompress the downloaded packages into the $FGLDIR and $GREDIR within the Genero Studio installation. See the procedure here:
https://4js.com/techdocs/fjs-flm-manual/#genero-install-topics/c_flm_install.html#t_flm_olddvmvers_patching_dvm_license_controller.
We appreciate your interest in pre-release access to our products, and value your feedback. Thank you for your participation in this important phase of our product development.
Best Regards,
The Four Js Development Team
