Hi all,

I have set DBPRINT=FGLSERVER.
Now when I run a report on my windows...the system taks the default printer on my windows box.

First of all I would like to get a dialog box with all the printers defined on my windows XP machine and then select the printer I want to use.

But when I print my report every line comes on a different sheet. Is this a setting which I forgot to set??

Which version are you using ?

In 1.33, you should be asked every report (for the printer and the font).
In 2.x, you can configure this in the configuration panel of GDC (you can select if you should be asked only the first time, always, if GDC must use the default system printer / font, or even set your own default printer / font).

I just found this setting in my GDC. I just tested it and it works.
Do you perhaps have an idea about the printing of each line on another sheet?

Can you recreate this with a small example?

e.g.

MAIN
   START REPORT ... TO PRINTER
   OUTPUT REPORT ...
   OUTPUT REPORT ...
   FINISH REPORT ...
END MAIN

REPORT ...

   ...
END REPORT

export DBPRINT=FGLSERVER; fglrun program

A small example that recreates the bug enables the support team to identify any potential bug quicker.  The small example may also end up being added to the QA tests.  It is also possible you may find that you can't recreate the issue with a small example and then the interesting exerciese is finding out what the offending line or conbination of factors that trigger the issue.
