Genero Enterprise 3.00 General Availability

  Four Js is pleased to announce the new Release of Genero Enterprise 3.00.

 The packages are now available on the web site https://4js.com/.

 Genero Suite Client/Server (GST) 3.00.22 is the bundle which includes :

• Genero Studio Client and Server (GST) 3.00.22
• Genero Business Development Language with Web Service (FGLGWS) 3.00.04
• Genero Application Server With web Client for JavaScript (GAS) 3.00.06
• Genero Desktop Client (GDC) 3.00.04
• Genero Mobile for IOS (GMI) 1.20.05
• Genero Mobile for Android (GMA) 1.20.04
• Genero Report Engine (GRE) 3.00.22
• Genero Report Designer (GRD) 3.00.22
• Genero Ghost Client (GGC) 1.00.04

Genero Suite Server (GSTSRV) includes :

• Genero Studio Server (GSTSRV) 3.00.22
• Genero Business Development Language with Web Service (FGLGWS) 3.00.04
• Genero Application Server With web Client for JavaScript (GAS) 3.00.06
• Genero Report Engine (GRE) 3.00.22

 The packages included in Genero Suite Server and Genero Suite Client/Server are also delivered individually.

 Note about Four Js License Manager: FLM should be updated to version 5.17.05 in order to work with Genero 3.00.

 These product versions are now downloadable from the web site :  https://4js.com/support/download.php.

 All Four Js Genero customers with valid maintenance contracts have free access to the new releases.

Dear Customers,


On December 17, 2015, Four Js officially released Genero 3.00 for general availability. Since the release, Four Js support have received several inquiries about the licensing needed to install Genero Enterprise 3.00.

Find answers to all your licensing questions in the official announcement, in the "Licensing" section: http://4js.com/genero-3-00-ga/

Please note: If you use a Four Js License Manager (FLM) to manage your Genero licenses, you must upgrade your FLM to the latest version 5.17.xx.

To upgrade your FLM:

• Back up your $FLMDIR/etc/lmprofle (on Windows: %FLMDIR%\etc\lmprofile).
• Install the new FLM 5.17.xx in the same directory as the existing FLM. Overwrite the files.
• If you set up FLM logging, remove any existing .log files.
• Copy back the previously backed up lmprofile file.
• Restart the FLM.

This procedure should take no more than 5 minutes. You do not need to re-install any licenses. All previous Genero versions will still work with the new FLM.
