I can see two major problems with Studio, the first is that the control-enter ("go to definition") only works on current files where the symbol is a function or procedure.
Procedure tagging is not a new facility in editors. For the uninitiated it works like a stack by setting a bookmark for the return point. I am aware that similar results can be achieved manually in studio but it is cumbersome and time consuming: it is also flawed inasmuch as bookmarks can only be cleared by jumping to them.
The combination of the weakness in "go to symbol definition" and the inability to build a tag or bookmark stack causes significant difficulty in managing large programs.
Does anyone have any viable alternatives?
