In Studio you can compile an open 4GL by using Build->Compile (F6).  But you can't do the same with a form.  You have to find it whatever folder it exists, and right click, compile.  This is quite difficult if you have a lot of forms and a complex structure.  Is there any reason you can't do this?  Can it be added please?

Hi Tim,
Sure you can do the same with a form: Just open any form (already saved on the disk) in Genero Studio Form Designer and 'Build - Compile <file_name>.4fd' menu command will be enabled. Just make sure the form is properly selected.
Kind regards,

On ours (2.10.02) the compile option is disabled when a form (.per) is active.  The form is properly selected.

Hi again, Tim,

Ok, you're speaking about a *.per file opened in Code Editor, I didn't notice that point...
Well, you're right, you should be able to also compile *.per files from the 'Build' menu, in the same way as *.4gl files. This issue is now filed as bug #Bz.11552 (Cannot compile per file from menu 'build').
Thanks for reporting, and sorry for the inconvenience.
Kind regards,
Romain W.
