We have noticed that if a form is too large for the PC window, the 2.22 GDC will
automatically create scrollbars, instead of maybe just letting part of the window
not show.

As we migrate from 2.11.16 to 2.22 and beyond this could cause problems
as if your form has folder tabs and the scrollbars, it can start to be bothersome.
It may be the windows are slightly larger because of the default font in new GDC.

Is there a way to NOT have the GDC create the scrollbars and let the window just not show?

Thank you,
Candy

Automatic scrollbars was a feature asked by a lot of users - even if IMHO automatic scrollbars are most of the time unusable and it's up to the developper to design the forms according to the target.

It worked more or less (less is more right) in earlier versions but introduced lots of issues while introducing more and more re-sizable items so in 2.20 we decided to enable scrollbars only in maximized mode, but because of lots of demand we rework some GDC basics to re-enable them in 2.21.

If you need to disable them, try styleAttribute "formScroll" to "no" on the window node. I think we forgot to document this style which was already available (formScroll or formNoScroll) in earlier versions, we'll add it in the doc.
Hope this helps,
Pierre-Nicolas
