Hi,

Anybody can help us about this messages in our Webproxy log file :

       "TextCodec" No handler for charset '646'

Hi Benjamin,

Basically, this message means that the GAS didn't succeed to convert the page into the asked charset.
But to identify why you get this message, we would need more information on the context: GAS version, OS, application state when getting the message etc. Also, can you send the whole GAS logs corresponding to the message ?

Hi Benjamin,

Can you give the output of your locale before you start the GAS dispatcher ? (just execute the command 'locale')
Also, can you set LC_ALL="en_US.ISO8859-1" and LANG="en_US.ISO8859-1"?

Hi Benjamin,

We can see that command "locale" gives NULL values for LANG and LC_ALL, which can explain the issue as I supposed it.
You initialize the variables with your script but it seems that it is done after the GAS dispatcher has been started. So can you set LANG (and also LC_ALL) before starting the dispatcher ?

I've export LANG and LC_ALL in  "$FGLASDIR"/envas script and all seems ok.
