Hi

Nowadays new hardware is ready with 64 bit. By default the RH OS which was installed by the supplier is RH 5.5 64 bit.

Unfortunately the client still running the application which was compiled using BDL 1.32.1d. I try to find if there is 4js installer  1.32.x for Linux 64 bit , but there is none.

What is the best option for this scenario. For information, this client will be upgrade to 2.2x  later but so soon. Because there are a lot of process and activities in between.

So ;

Opt 1: Can we install IBM CSDK and IBM IDS 11.5 32 bits  in OS RH 5.5 64 bits. By this, we hope we can install 4js 1.32.1d 32 bit without has to reconfigure the OS.

Opt 2: Reconfigure OS to 32 bit. All subsequence products will also 32 bits.

I had sent the question to support just now. From your knowledge, will Option 1 work?. I never had experience but from my understand BDL is depending on Informix CSDK. Just I'm not so sure CSDK 32 bit can it be install in RH 64 bit .
