I'm playing with opening a Putty session back onto the same Windows Client with a SSH connection, this will then be used to run Genero apps in TUI mode. The connection works fine but I am having problems getting function keys and screen attribute to work properly.

Has anyone else had any experience with this using Putty or similar emulators ?

Thanks in advance

I do this successfully with 'xterm' emulation: This is the termcap:
xterm-132|Xterm-132 terminal emulator/DEC vt100:\

*** Note that this is a 132 column terminal (co#132) change this to co#80 for 80 column terminal ***
*** In PuTTY: Terminal --> Keyboard "The backspace key: (o) Control-H
"The Function keys and keypad: (o) XTerm R6
