Follow a behind the scenes experience on how to create a complex Genero Mobile application in less than a week covering: QR secure reading, maps and routes tracing, RESTful web services, chat-bots integration, for use during the COVID pandemic

This thread will be used to collate questions and answers from the live chat of Oscar's presentation and any questions you may have after watching a recording.

Hi Oscar

I saw your presentation and it looks good.
I would like to add a chatbot to the App I am working on.
That works fine but I need to add text bubbles so user can see request and reply clearly.
I have copied your code from the presentation.
When I run that I get stuck on COMPONENTTYPE = "wc_chatbot"
Is that the HTML that makes the actual bubble ?

I use Universal Rendering.

I don't know much but I try very hard :))

Thanks and best regards.

Feliz aņo nuevo

Hi Oscar

I found a way to do chat put is more primitive.
I use an attributes array with colours so I can see request and reply more clearly.
Good enough for now.

Best regards

Hi Oscar

Sorry, misunderstanding.

I ran the video presentation yesterday (before I could only see the pdf presentation).
For chat you invoke a SaaS chatbot.

What I am doing is a simple private chat inside the application.
Via the database.
I am not trying to re-invent Whatsapp.
I can easily link to the WA API from inside the application.
But the users don't want WA because this is about personal(sensitive) issues.

I have the chat process working but it doesn't look sharp in a listView.
It is only about the look.

Best regards
