When using Genero Report Writer (GRW) you will often see a pattern where you need to stack a number of fields vertically and for each field you wish to display both a Label/Caption and a Value. Typically in documents such as Invoices, Purchase Order in the header there will be a requirement to display a number of fields in this manner.
There are many ways in the Genero Report Writer you can do this. You should use a technique that minimises the effort of making changes to the report as you design it.
In this article I examine some of these techniques finishing up with how using a Table object can be used to keep rows and columns in alignment as you make changes to the content of the rows and columns.
