Four Js is pleased to provide the second release of the Genero 4.00 Early Access Program, where we invite you to test new bundles for FGLGWS (inclusive of GGC) and GAS.

Four Js is also pleased to provide the first release of the Four Js License Manager 6.00 Early Access Program, where we invite you to test the new Four Js License Manager.

Regarding the Genero 4.00 Early Access Program
Important: New features have resulted in an improved FGL p-code and applications compiled with the first release of the Genero BDL EAP (EAP1) must be recompiled.
These recompiled applications will not work with the GMI or GMA provided with the first EAP bundle; you must wait until the next EAP release of GMA and GMI (anticipated in the next couple weeks.)

To see what is new with Genero BDL, GAS, and GGC, look for the tag "V4.00.02 (EAP2)” on the "What's New in 4.00" pages. Features listed in the tables after these tags identify those features added in this release.

Some of the responsive features tied to this release of Genero BDL require the upcoming EAP release of the Genero Browser Client 4.00 EAP, scheduled for next week. These features include:
  • Form file attributes and style attributes, as shown on Genero BDL 4.00 New Features (https://4js.com/techdocs/fjs-fgl-manual/#fgl-topics/fgl_whatsnew_400.html) page in the “User interface” table (after the line "V4.00.02 (EAP2)".)
  • The use of snapshots when generating logs for GGC testing, as shown on the GGC 4.00 New Features page. (https://4js.com/techdocs/fjs-ggc-manual/#ggc-topics/ggc_whatsnew_400.html)

Regarding the Four Js License Manager 6.00 Early Access Program

Read the FLM 6.00 upgrade guide (https://4js.com/techdocs/fjs-genero-install/#genero-install-topics/c_genero_license_migrate_flm5_6.html) to see what’s new with the Four Js License Manager and Controllers 6.00 when compared to the previous licensing tool. You can expect the following.
  • Better performance due to a new internal architecture.
  • JSON parsing of fglWrt/flmprg -a info.
