Title: CentOS End Of Life
Post by: Sean H. on February 08, 2021, 09:01:26 am
Hello everyone, I was wondering what the advice is in regards to CentOS reducing the End Of Life for CentOS 8 to the end of this year. We've been using CentOS exclusively as our OS, is it advisable to use the new CentOS Stream or should we be considering changing our Linux Distro to something else like Debian?

Hello,

Yes, RedHat stops Centos as an LTS release. It seems to become like the Debian Testing version.

Therefore Four Js will stop supporting Centos 8. And we have no plan to support Centos 8 stream release yet, as we don't know how Centos 8 Stream will be built.

You can use Debian stable release or Centos 7.x - Or moving to RedHat 8.
