What level of Informix compatibility do you need with Firebird? It it's just to query some tables dbmodc3x.so if fine, but if you want to use Firebird as main database for your application, you will probably need a dedicated ODI driver... We don't need informix compatibility, only need to make selects on an external firebird database. I don't understand why the driver is not installed on Solaris Sparc because on Linux version it's there. I know that you change the ODI interface on V3.00 do you think that generic ODBC driver will still supported ?
