Title: allowWebSelection in Genero 2.50 Post by: yap b. on January 31, 2014, 04:25:54 am I setup Genero Application Server 2.50 and noticed i no longer can right click on Text Edit field to select the value.
In earlier GAS i was able to do so by adding "allowWebSelection" style in FGL runtime default.4st. Is there a different setup for GAS 2.5? Thanks Title: Re: allowWebSelection in Genero 2.50 Post by: . on January 31, 2014, 02:50:35 pm Hi, I moved your post into GAS as it's more a GAS question I guess. When you pass from GAS 2.4x to GAS 2.5x version, the default mode changes: in 2.4x, application is by default displayed in AJAX mode while it is HTML5 mode since 2.5x. So in your case, I think that issue occurs in HTML5 mode but not in AJAX mode. Can you confirm this by modifying the display mode in 2.4x and 2.5x as a test ? To force a mode, just add the following "OutputMap" at the end of your application url: http://xxxxxxx?OutputMap=DUA_AJAX http://xxxxxxx?OutputMap=DUA_HTML5 Do you still get the issue in 2.50 + AJAX ? Also, please confirm your expected behavior: you do a right-click in a textedit in display mode and a menu option allows you to select all the field content, then you can do a copy/paste of all the content ? I have 2.4 default to HTML5. I'm also using HTML5 in 2.5 as well. I'm able to double click an EDIT field in 2.41 and it will highlight the text within, i can then right click to select "copy" (2-41_select.jpg) Surprisingly i'm able to do the same on 2.5 in AJAX mode (2-5_ajax.jpg) Only 2.5 HTML5 mode does not have this behavior; no double clicking to highlight the text within the EDIT field (2-5_ajax.jpg) Genero 2.41.31 on Windows 2008 R2 Standard with IIS ISAPI Genero 2.50.18 on Red Hat Enterprise 6.4 with Apache 2.4.7 with mod_proxy_fcgi Thanks Title: Re: allowWebSelection in Genero 2.50 Post by: . on February 05, 2014, 11:53:46 am Just to keep the forum informed, support team is working on the issue directly with customer.
And next GAS 2.50 version should support the allowWebSelection feature for HTML5 mode. Regards, Guney |
