Title: MDI container existence
Post by: Newdecision T. on August 16, 2012, 03:34:40 pm
I've benn looking for a way to detect if a MDI container exists.

Untill know I found no solution. Status var is not afected and I can't find a way to trap the error event with "whenever error" or "try.. catch" (a silly desesperate try, i know!!!).

Looking into the forum's  posts I found one, dated 2008,  from Andy Jones regarding this subject that  makes reference to a feature request (fz.#1271).

I looked into the "Issue tracker" but I found nothing about it!

Can you please tell me something about this matter ?
TIA

Hello Jose,

This feature request is always pending.

Since we're not using anymore dedicated fz.# references for feature requests (everything is now filed as bz.#), this issue is now recorded as bz.# 23112 (Having a method to know the existence of a MDI container). There is still no precise date planned for implementation.

Best regards,
Lionel
