Title: GRW Tips Post by: Reuben B. on May 07, 2010, 01:46:41 am Alex taught me a useful tip and I was going to send it to the participants on the recent training courses I ran in Auckland, Christchurch, Sydney, Melbourne, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore but I figured I'd post it here instead for a wider audience.
An alternative way to add items to your report that doesn't invoice dragging and dropping is to ... 1. Select the object in the design window or the report structure that you want to be the parent object 2. In the tool-box or data view, double-click on an object or field respectively This will add the object or field relatively positioned as a child of the parent object. That certainly cuts down on the dragging an dropping for relatively positioned elements which can get a little finicky at times. Reuben |
