beginning with 2.10 we will provide patches as soon as possible: "as frequently as we can manage". Patches will be bug fixes only (no new features, no functionality change). Hallo Andrew Clarke, you have posted into the (just now died) genero-210 mailing list this subject: getting assertion failure This problem arrives if a DIALOG statement has an INPUT and an INPUT ARRAY sub-dialog. If the current sub-dialog is the INPUT ARRAY and you call NEXT FIELD field_in_input within the AFTER DIALOG block, the runtime dies. This bug (#9084) has been fixed right now in 2.10.03-1148.2. Thanks for the fix; it will let me do some slightly nicer code.
I did notice that the assertion failure only comes if you use hotkeys (and via actions) to flip the focus. I could click from section to section endlessly without failure, but 3 hot-key steps and BANG! You can download latest 2.10 packages from the customer corner download page. Only Linux and Windows packages are done for 2.10.03 yet, we can do other platforms if needed. Seb |
