Title: Client sessions not getting closed
Post by: Patrick B. on December 12, 2024, 08:44:17 pm
We're having an issue where folks are ending up not able to log in due to licenses being used up because other client sessions aren't getting closed properly.

Is there a setting in the client we need to change?  Is it there configuration on the server end we need?

You should probably raise an issue with your support contact.  You will need to specify versions (fglrun -V) including license controller (fglWrt -V) along with wether you are using Four Js License Manager (and again its version flmprg -V)

It would also pay to check output of

fglWrt -a info users
or
flmprg -a info users

and see if you can identify a pattern to the licenses being consumed that shouldn't.

I should do an Ask-Reuben on this topic as there is more I could say,  I did address it a little here  https://4js.com/ask-reuben/ig-61/#:~:text=listening%20for%20requests.-,When%20is%20a%20User%20License%20freed%20up%3F,and%20consume%20a%20license%2C%20and%20then%20check%20the%20user%20count.,-What%20Is%20a
