Four Js is pleased to announce the new Release of Genero Enterprise 4.01.

 Genero Suite Client/Server (GST) 4.00.01 is the bundle which includes :
  • Genero Studio Client and Server (GST) 4.01.00
  • Genero Business Development Language with Web Service - JGAS - GBC - GGC - GIP - WCG (FGLGWS) 4.01.01
  • Genero Application Server (GAS) 4.01.00
  • Genero Desktop Client (GDC) 4.01.00
  • Genero Mobile for IOS (GMI) 4.01.00
  • Genero Mobile for Android (GMA) 4.01.00
  • Genero Report Engine (GRE) 4.01.00


Genero Suite Server (GSTSRV) includes :
  • Genero Studio Server (GSTSRV) 4.01.00
  • Genero Business Development Language with Web Service - JGAS - GBC - GGC - GIP - WCG (FGLGWS) 4.01.01
  • Genero Application Server (GAS) 4.01.00

Important: Upgrading to Genero BDL 4.01 requires an update of all Genero Products to version 4.01.
                    And if you are using the Four JS License Manager, check that you installed the version 6.00.10 of the FLM.
What's new
  • The FGLGWS 4.01.01 package is bundled with an up-to-date version of OpenSSL 1.1.
  • WSAttachment now supports a new pattern to avoid Code Injection during file transfer in REST

  • You can now embed GBC web application in a portal or web page and manage server side applications from the web page

  • ROWBOUND actions are now supported on desktop and appear in a 3-dot menu in Table, Tree and ScrollGrid widgets.
  • Starting with Genero BDL 4.01, the 3 first digits of front-end version must match (4.01)

  • A new ODI driver (dbmsnc_18) for Microsoft™ ODBC 18 for SQL Server is now available

We recommend to install this latest version of FGLGWS 4.01.01 due to a HIGH vulnerability that was fixed in the OpenSSL 1.1.1n library delivered in this package .

All Four Js Genero customers with valid maintenance contracts have free access to the new releases.
