Title: Localization strings from 4rp files. Post by: Keith Y. on April 10, 2018, 08:30:09 pm Need came up to localize a number of 2.40 4rp files so put together the attached program to extract the localization strings file versus doing manually. Was also used to extract strings from 3.00 4rp files as well. Thought I would share it with the forum. Might be useful to others until a solution to GST-08839 is provided. Feel free to modify as your needs require.

Thanks for sharing. I am sure that this will be appreciated. For completeness I would like to point out that there might be other character entities besides "&" that need to be taken care of such as <, >, & quot; or '. Using an XML reader instead of a channel would solve this issue. Thanks again for sharing, Alex |
